Family immigration

We prove the money, the relationship and the home before you apply, so the first answer is yes.

A refused family visa costs the fee, months more apart, and a mark on the record. Most are refused on evidence you could have supplied.

What we do

Partner, child and parent applications, from abroad and inside the UK, including the hardest routes: adult dependent relatives and settlement for survivors of domestic abuse. We prove the money, the relationship and the home before you apply, so the first answer is yes.

Questions we hear every week

Can I meet the financial requirement if I am self-employed or have savings instead of salary?

Often, yes. The rules let you meet the requirement from employment, self-employment, pensions, other specified income and cash savings, alone or in some combinations, each counted over set periods. We work out which way your figures pass on the free call.

What counts as evidence that our relationship is real?

Usually a mix: your marriage or civil partnership certificate where you have one, proof of living together, contact over time, visits and shared finances. Consistency matters more than volume, and we tell you exactly what to gather.

My partner is already in the UK on a visa; can they switch without leaving?

Some people can switch inside the UK and some must apply from abroad. It depends on their current visa and their immigration history. Getting this wrong is a common refusal, so we check it first.

Together, on time, first time. One application, prepared properly, and you are planning a life together instead of another form.
