Skilled Worker visas

You got the job. Congratulations. Now one form decides whether you can start it. Most Skilled Worker refusals come down to three things: the wrong occupation code, the wrong salary, and hours that don’t add up. None of them are the Home Office’s mistake, and all of them are fixable before the certificate is assigned. That is where we start.

Fixed fee: £1,200 to £1,700 + VATFirst step: a free 20-minute callYour case: one named caseworker, solicitor sign-off

Is this you?

People with a job offer from a licensed UK sponsor, applying from abroad or switching in the UK. Skilled Workers extending, or changing employer. Graduates and students moving into sponsored work. Employers who want the certificate checked before they assign it.

What we do for you

  • Check the certificate of sponsorship against the rules before it is assigned, or before you apply if it already has been
  • Confirm the occupation code fits the real job
  • Work out the salary you need on your hours, including any discounts you are entitled to as a new entrant
  • Prepare and submit the application for you and your family
  • Deal with Home Office requests
  • Plan your route to settlement

What we check before anything is submitted

  • Occupation code against the actual duties
  • Salary against the going rate and the general threshold, on the hours stated
  • Start date, work location and sponsor licence rating
  • English language
  • Your immigration history and any gaps in permission
  • Dependants’ documents and finances

The fee, the timescale and who does the work

£1,200 to £1,700 plus VAT per main applicant.

Your exact fixed fee is confirmed on the free call and agreed in writing before any chargeable work starts. Home Office fees and the health surcharge are paid separately; see the Fees page for the full list.

Our fee covers taking your instructions, assessing eligibility, telling you what evidence is needed and reviewing it, preparing and drafting the application and any representations, submitting it, dealing with Home Office requests for information, and advising you on the decision.

Typical timescale. Usually 3 to 8 weeks, faster with priority services.

Who handles it. A named, Law Society accredited caseworker runs your matter from the first call to the decision, supervised by a solicitor who signs off the application.

Questions we hear every week

My employer has already assigned the certificate; can you still check it?

Yes, and if something is wrong we tell the employer what to correct before you apply.

Can I bring my partner and children?

On most Skilled Worker routes, yes; we prepare their applications with yours.

What happens if I change jobs?

You need a new certificate and a new application before you start; we can run it.

The job is the hard part. The visa shouldn’t be.
