Fixed fees. Agreed in writing. No surprises.

Every fee on this page is what you will pay for our work, plus VAT where it applies and the Home Office’s own charges, which we list separately. Your exact figure inside the range is confirmed on the free call and agreed in writing before any chargeable work begins.

Home Office fees, the Immigration Health Surcharge and other third-party costs are set out separately below. If the scope changes, the fee changes only in writing, with your agreement, before the extra work is done.

What is not included

The Home Office application fee, the Immigration Health Surcharge, priority service fees, the tribunal fee, English test and Life in the UK test fees, translations, courier, expert and medical reports, DNA tests and counsel’s fees. These are paid to third parties and we tell you the figures in writing before anything is incurred. Home Office fees are published on GOV.UK and change in April and October; we confirm the current figure at submission.

VAT. Our fees are subject to VAT at 20% where it applies. Clients who are not ordinarily resident in the UK are generally outside the scope of UK VAT on these services; we confirm your position in writing when you instruct us.

How you pay. Half of the fixed fee and all anticipated third-party costs on instruction, before work begins. The balance before submission. Appeals, judicial review and sponsor licence work are staged, set out in the engagement letter.

Typical Processing Timescales

These are set by the Home Office and are outside our control. We will advise on the most current timescales at your consultation. Priority services can significantly reduce waiting times where available.

Family Visas

8 – 24 weeks

Overseas entry clearance. Priority service may reduce to 3–5 weeks.

In-Country Applications

8 – 26 weeks

Extensions and leave changes submitted from inside the UK.

ILR & Citizenship

6 – 18 months

ILR: up to 6 months. Naturalisation: 9–18 months (UKVI processing).

Skilled Worker Visa

3 – 8 weeks

Usually faster where the CoS is in order. Priority processing available.

Sponsor Licence

8 – 12 weeks

Standard application. Home Office may request further information.

FtT Appeal

6 – 12 months

From lodging grounds of appeal to Tribunal hearing date.

Hourly rates, used only where a fixed fee cannot be set, per hour plus VAT: Grade A solicitor with 8 or more years’ experience £275 · Grade B solicitor £225 · Grade C solicitor or legal executive £175 · Grade D trainee or paralegal £125.
