EU Settlement Scheme

Pre-settled status does not quietly turn into settled status, and late applications still succeed when the reasons are good. We sort out where you stand and move you to the status that ends the question.

Fixed fee: £600 to £900 + VATFirst step: a free 20-minute callYour case: one named caseworker, solicitor sign-off

Is this you?

EU, EEA and Swiss citizens and their family members: pre-settled status holders moving to settled status, people applying late with reasonable grounds, and family members joining.

What we do for you

  • Check your residence history and status
  • Prepare the settled status application, or the late application with evidence of reasonable grounds
  • Handle family permit and joining family member applications
  • Challenge refusals by administrative review or appeal

What we check before anything is submitted

  • Continuous residence and absences
  • Evidence of the reasons for applying late
  • Family relationships and the relevant dates
  • Your digital status and identity details

The fee, the timescale and who does the work

Pre-settled to settled £600 to £900 plus VAT; late applications and family members £900 to £1,400 plus VAT; administrative review £1,000 to £1,600 plus VAT.

Your exact fixed fee is confirmed on the free call and agreed in writing before any chargeable work starts. Home Office fees and the health surcharge are paid separately; see the Fees page for the full list.

Our fee covers taking your instructions, assessing eligibility, telling you what evidence is needed and reviewing it, preparing and drafting the application and any representations, submitting it, dealing with Home Office requests for information, and advising you on the decision.

Typical timescale. Varies widely; we tell you what to expect.

Who handles it. A named, Law Society accredited caseworker runs your matter from the first call to the decision, supervised by a solicitor who signs off the application.

Questions we hear every week

Do I have to apply for settled status?

It is wise to, as soon as you qualify; we explain why on the call.

I missed the deadline; is it too late?

Not if there are reasonable grounds.

Can my family still join me?

Some can; it depends on the relationship and dates.

Settlement ends the visa cycle for good. Citizenship ends the question.
