You don't need a Mayfair address to get Mayfair-quality immigration advice.

Every week, we take on London clients who have been quoted £3,500 to £6,000 by their local firm for work we handle for £1,200 to £2,000. Same Home Office rules. Same immigration solicitor accreditations. Same application forms. The only difference is the postcode of the office typing them up. We're not suggesting London firms are bad — many are excellent. We're suggesting their overhead is built into your fee, and you're paying for a desk in Mayfair you'll never see.

Six common immigration matters. Our fee against a typical London firm.

Figures below are based on published fees of central London immigration firms at the time of writing. Exact quoted fees vary with case complexity. Our fees are fixed and confirmed in writing before any chargeable work begins.

Why is there a price difference? Because overhead is a choice, not a quality marker.

Real estate

A Mayfair office floor can cost £120 to £180 per square foot per year. A Leicester office floor costs £18 to £28. When a firm pays five times the rent, the client pays for it.

Billable rate inflation

Central London firms commonly charge £350 to £600 per hour for partner-supervised immigration work. Our supervising solicitor's hourly equivalent is roughly a third of that. The Home Office doesn't charge by firm address.

Same rules apply

Every immigration solicitor in England and Wales works to the same Immigration Rules, submits to the same Home Office, and is regulated by the same SRA. The location of the desk typing the application does not change the application.

The same accreditations the best London firms hold.

SRA regulated

Kalsi Legal Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority under No. 8004435. Same regulator as every Magic Circle firm, same professional conduct obligations, same complaint routes.

Law Society IAAS accredited

Our team holds Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme qualifications at Levels 1 and 2, including Senior Supervising Caseworker status — the highest quality mark for non-solicitor immigration practitioners.

Two thousand matters handled

Across spouse, work, settlement, citizenship, and refusal cases. The volume of cases matters — pattern recognition on Home Office decisions comes from doing the work, not reading about it.

Hundreds of reviews

Genuine Google reviews across our profiles — rated 4.7 out of 5. Read them before you instruct. We're proud of the feedback.

You never need to visit an office if you don't want to.

The client portal, video consultations, and encrypted document upload mean geography is no longer a constraint on good legal advice. Most of our London clients never meet us in person, and their cases are handled no differently than any other.

Step 1 — Free 15-minute triage call

Book a short phone call at no cost. We'll tell you whether your matter is something we can help with, and roughly what it'll cost. No obligation, no sales pitch.

Step 2 — Full consultation by video

One hour, fixed-fee (£200 + VAT, deducted from your matter fee if you instruct). Detailed case assessment, written advice, and a fixed-fee quote in writing within 48 hours.

Step 3 — Instruction and client portal

Retainer signed electronically. Secure client portal set up. Upload documents, track progress, message your caseworker — all from your phone or laptop, 24/7.

Step 4 — Your application prepared

Drafted by your named caseworker, supervised by our principal solicitor, submitted to UKVI when you give final approval. Same process, same rigour, same quality London firms charge double for.

Step 5 — In-person meeting (if you want one)

If you prefer a face-to-face meeting at any point, we can travel to London for important client meetings (Central London postcodes), with travel time quoted separately in advance. For most clients, video is just easier.
